The Queensland Department of Natural Resources & Mines manages the use of the State's resources-land, water, minerals, petroleum & vegetation ensure that, while generating income, they are maintained & continue to add to the quality of life in Queensland. Our objectives are basically in line with these, additionally we support value adding to our resources by processing them here, ensuring jobs & wealth for Australian's.
Our policy is one of equality, in which all resources in this state belong to Queensland & the Commonwealth of Australia for the benefit of all Queenslander Australian's.We do not support the Native Title Act & other divisive discriminating legislation, we will work to reverse such legislation. We will also withdraw from treaties which are harmful to our industry and are of no benefit to Queensland.
