Last weekend saw the election of Former State MP for Lockyer Mr. Bill Flynn as State President of the Queensland Division of the One Nation Party.

Mr Flynn pleased at the continuing confidence of his members, in his abilities to represent the party, said " I am happy to have been returned to a position where I can again be a public voice not just for our party, but for the country as a whole " He continued "The coming year, will show our political commentators might wish to adjust their opinion of our political status. This will occur I believe in the light of public statements during this time by the party and the electors if indeed published. I am determined no matter my personal political fortunes, I will revitalise One Nation, regardless of the absence from party affairs of Pauline Hanson or any other former personality. Ms. Hanson has in our view an honoured a place in history. Time marches on and we must do it alone. Our members have a deep concern at this point, not just with platform issues on migration, rather real Tax reform, which the party has been calling for since 1997. I am interested to note that following the now much hated GST which Mr. Howard swore he would never introduce, we now hear daily advice to his Government, that a total overhaul of Taxation is long overdue."
