One Nation presents Taxation Reform as a central plank in the campaign. We present this policy to enable people to have plenty of time to digest and comment on its content. __________________________________ TAXATION REFORM. One Nation is committed to Taxation Reform and we believe this policy should be the central plank in our party’s next federal election campaign. We hear many times from the Government and opposition representatives that they will tinker with the tax act. Very little they do or propose will really benefit Mr or Mrs average working Australian, the changes will very likely improve business profits but even genuine tax cuts usually are more than swallowed up by increased cost of living. One businessman masquerading as a politician is proposing a Flat 30% for income and business tax. But he is not saying any loopholes will be affected by his proposal, therefore the workers will still be burdened with paying the bulk of taxes in this country, fully supporting those without a job and subsidising multinational business. YOU pay 1% only every time you withdraw money from a Bank or other financial institute. This money is electronically deposited to the Australian Treasury. NO end of year Tax-Pack to fill out. NO tax on your savings. Businesses both Australian owned and Multinational are treated the same way. NO more ability to fudge the figures. NO double tax agreement. NO hidden taxes to hinder business expansion. Genuine internal company transfers of capital are not taxable. The extra income generated by the Government will enable us to totally pay our foreign debt and spend all surpluses on providing services. Finally a balanced budget. ______________________________________ Our belief is that the economic future well being of the people of Australia depends upon a strong and fair economy, which will progressively ensure that all members of society are equally rewarded. We will, through the promotion of policy that has a central theme of equality, re-establish protections for the sustained growth of jobs through the re-establishment of secondary industry to encourage those jobs. We are tired of the export of our industries and jobs overseas through nothing more than the abrogation of responsibility of the current government to adequately protect the interests of the Australian people. We all, should be angry that a country as rich and skilled as ours should be producing so much inequality, so much poverty, so many shoddy and dictatorial government decisions. and, This should be an unrelenting anger. THE FUEL PRICE RIP
OFF
Howard cons motorists on fuel prices. By now most everyone has
heard that we are about to reach “peak oil” the point when the global oil
supply diminishes. This now appears to be another lie just like the
‘weapons of mass destruction’ (WMD) lie used to justify the invasion of
Iraq, ‘peak oil’ is a program designed to justify higher oil prices. Most involved in the
energy industry have been aware of this, & the fact that oil is a
‘RENEWABLE & ABIOTIC FUEL?’ Oil has
been called a ‘fossil fuel;’ based on the idea that it comes from formerly
living organisms. This may have been plausible back when oil wells were
drilled into the fossil layers of the earth’s crust; but today, great
quantities of oil are found in deeper wells that are found below the level
of any fossils, or decomposed living matter, if it exists in rock
formations far below layers of fossils, & shows no fossil trace it
means its back to the drawing boards. Any reputable geologist
will tell you that OIL IS CREATED BY MAGMA OF THE EARTH. Oil
wells that were pumped out dry at the turn of the century & capped are
now filled with oil again. Oil Companies &
governments created the concept that it was of limited supply &
therefore extremely valuable. This fits with the “Depletion” allowance
philosophical scam. Most can remember stories
about the middle east oil wells running dry by the 80s, it did not happen
to day there wells are just as full as they continue to replace the
billions of barrels being pumped out. At home in Australia we were told that our country had little oil & it would soon run out, & to ensure further exploration & ensure supplies we would need to increase prices to OPEC parity pricing & we are all aware at what this has done to our pump prices for fuel & the drastic effects its having on our communities & economies. The truth is there is no
shortage of petroleum in Australia, in fact the country is awash with it
especially gas. Australian oil is what is known as a light sweet crude, in
other words its low in deadly sulphur & is ideal for diesel, petrol,
avgas etc., we are 97% sufficient in petroleum products with only the need
to import about 3% of heavy crude oils for bunker fuels, bitumen etc. Our oil fields such as
Barrow, Bass Straight & Moonie are still producing oil for $2 to $3
dollars a barrel, in fact all our oil
fields are producing for well under $10 per barrel (six cents per litre).
Gas is produced for $120 per tonne
about (three cents per litre), this is exported to countries such as communist China on a twenty-five year
contract for less than three cents per litre CIF. Based on these facts it
is estimated that the uniform prices of fuel in this country should not
exceed the following; Petrol $ 50 cents per litreDiesel
$ 40 cents per
litre LPG
$ 20 cents per litre (The
above prices provide all in the chain huge profits) Ref: “The Deep Hot Biosphere” by Dr. Gold. “The genesis of Hydrocarbons & the origin of petroleum” by Dr. Kenney “ Power from the Earth Deep Earth Gas”—Energy for the Future” by Thomas Gold. The
fuel price grab is purely to satisfy the greed of the CFR & the Howard
government, who are never effected, as they do not pay for the fuel used
in their taxpayer provided cars. However the Australian
workingman, farmers, retires & others on fixed incomes are suffering
as fuel prices impact on us due to the tyranny of distance in
Australia. The time has come for the Howard government to put the interests of the nation first or resign. AUSTRALIAN FUEL
PRICES HIGHEST OF ALL FUEL PRODUCING COUNTRIES Arab OPEC countries have
just announced a 25% reduction in domestic fuel prices that are already
less than 10 cents per litre. The question is if the
Arab countries put the interests of their people first, why cannot Howard
look after Australians rather than the ‘Establishment’ One Nation is the only party that proposes the elimination of the OPEC PARITY & FUEL EXCISE pricing racket, replacing it with a national energy policy, tax & finance reform to reduce fuel prices, remove deadly & costly aromatics from petrol & encourage the use of cleaner fuels, ensuring Australians receive the benefits of their vast energy resources. CARS Much
is being made of hybrid petrol/electric cars as the media continues to
promote the peak oil scam. Numerous
councils & utilities & a few private owners have fallen for the
scam of replacing their normal petrol, & diesel vehicles with hybrids.
They cost more & therein lies the problem. It may take decades to
recover fuel savings. Several
new light cars, costing between $14,000 & $16,000, can deliver
comparable fuel consumption at a lower entry cost than more expensive
hybrid cars. Based
on the average annual use for an Australian car of 20,000km &
Australian standard fuel consumption figures quoted by manufacturers, it
could take up to 100 years to recoup the added cost of buying a hybrid
when compared with a $15,000 economical conventional car. If
a motorist travels 20,000km in the lowest-priced hybrid at $32,000 it will
use about 920 litres of fuel that would equate to $1104 based on fuel
prices of $1.20 a litre. For an equivalent distance in the higher-priced
hybrid at $37,000, motorists would consume 880 litres at an average cost
of $1056 a year. A
conventional modern light car will average 1140 litres of fuel for the
year, costing &1360. With
fuel savings of $264 & $312 annually for the two hybrids, it is clear
the scales are tipped in favour of the conventional car. It means the
hybrid car would need to be driven for 68 years before it equalled the
average light car’s cost effectiveness. The
case for the light cars become stronger compared to top-of-the-range
hybrid models this comparison pushes out the break-even point to over 100
years. Then there is the high maintenance cost of hybrid vehicles to be
considered. If
the emission side of the equation is considered as well as running costs,
then Autogas (LPG) is the only way to go even allowing for the $2-3,000
conversion costs, which are normally recouped in 30,000km. From then on it
is half price fuel costs, & nearly zero harmful emissions. The
question is why is so much money wasted on hybrid vehicles & other
nonsense so called alternative fuels such as ethanol when Australia is
awash with gas? We have so much of it that thousands of tons are burnt off
into the atmosphere everyday. We consume about 2 million tonnes per year
& export many times more at less than 3 cents per litre. Maybe
the its more to do with greed than common sense, the same media
personality that refuses to expose the truth on fuel prices is sponsored
by the manufacturers of hybrid vehicles & most media is also owned by
the same organization that owns the oil companies? Of
course councils & will waste money on hybrid vehicles, as it is the
ratepayers who pay, governments of course have to toe the line & they
also stand to profit as well as their masters. The Howard government has
profited by over $17 billion at the expense of the Australian motorist
this year, whilst families struggle to feed the kids & pay the
rates. Fuel
prices in the Arab oil producing countries are well under 10 cents per
litre & last week they announced a further 25% reduction in
prices. One
Nation also proposes to ensure that Australians benefit for our vast
energy reserves by introducing tax reform & eliminating the parity
pricing scam & removing excise & GST taxes on fuel prices. To
ensure there is no withholding of local supplies a tax of 25% will apply
to all fuel exports, & any capped oil leases will be resumed. Fuel
prices will be regulated setting the maximum uniform prices as follows:
Petrol, 50 cents per litre, Diesel, 40 cents per litre, & Autogas
(LPG) 20 cents per litre with 50% of the conversion costs subsidised for
qualifying vehicles to encourage the use of this clean fuel.
