NATIONAL PARLIAMENTARY LEADER

One Nation, announces the appointment of Mr Jim Savage as the Party's National Parliamentary Leader. (pictured at right)

Jim, is a Queensland businessman from the Sunshine Coast who works primarily in the Resource Industry currently engaged in exploration works in Papua New Guinea who has been endorsed as the lead Senate Candidate in Queensland for the September 2013 federal election.

'We cannot continue to be a community of innocent bystanders. We are all guilty if we do nothing.
Someone has to start turning things around. We need people of solid human values, reliable as
friends, and with genuine sympathy for others in difficulty. People with uncompromising courage
of their convictions. People who are honest. Yes honest, a value long lost in Australian politics. We
need a passion for goodness in politics, not expediency and power plays. It is not all about dollars
and cents and politics and power and repaying favours. It’s about Australia and her people. We must
be one people in one united Christian nation.' Jim Savage said.

ABOUT US

The One Nation political party was launched on the 11th April 1997 at Ipswich by its founder, Pauline Hanson. At that time, after thirteen years of Labor rule, politicians from all major parties had been reduced to a state of abject silence. Political correctness reigned supreme and few would dare to speak out on controversial issues for fear of being abused and attacked by hostile media.

One woman, Pauline Hanson, dared to challenge the entrenched bureaucracy and the vested interests of the political ruling elite by stating the truth as she saw it. Over one million Australians agreed with her, a sufficient number to send the political establishment and their media cohorts into panic mode.

After several years of expensive court battles, internal strife within the Party, and imprisonment, Pauline's enemies finally succeeded in hounding her from the political scene. However, the Party she established, adhering to the principles for which she fought, remains to carry on the battle.

The party today consists of a strong membership with Divisions throughout the Nation.

PAULINE HANSON COMES BACK
Dear Sir,

I am delighted that Mr. Ettridge (pictured right) is suing Tony Abbott for his partly successful attempt to pervert the course of justice by orchestrating people to give false evidence against himself and Pauline Hanson (pictured right). Fortunately the High Court saw through this and ordered "no case to answer" and both David and Pauline were instantly released from prison.
Abbott was terrified of a party that threatened his "born to rule" position and was prepared to pay for a result beneficial to himself and his Liberal party.

One Nation has evidence to support this, although hardly necessary as Abbott himself admitted his crime on Sixty Minutes several years ago, interestingly with no police charges to follow.
He admitted he promised to ensure certain people would "..not be out of pocket..", paid by himself. This is a matter of public record. The man is in my opinion, a blatant liar, when he now denies this.

Now we are delighted that the great woman herself will run again. Pauline is what Australia needs now more than it did back in the 90's when 25% of Australians supported her right to speak for the disenfranchised. Pauline is needed now more than ever. Everything she said before has either come true or is still happening
Pauline will have every support One Nation can give her here in Queensland if she chooses to run for a seat here. We need politicians who aren't simply gutless party hacks and opportunists and who do exactly what they are told by their bosses behind closed doors.

There are no Barry O'Sullivans in One Nation!

Recognition of the First Nation and Local Government Referendums.

Two issues that do affect us relates to the possibilities of two referendums likely to be held during the term of the next government. One relates to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples Recognition Bill 2012 which recently passed through the House of Representatives with bipartisan support. The Bill has been skilfully drafted to be beyond objection and is essentially a method of keeping the topic alive until the time is judged to be right for a referendum. The other relates to recognition of Local Government in the Australian Constitution.

Unfortunately many in the Coalition are centralists and concur. It should be noted that it has, for years, been Labor Party policy to establish regional governments and abolish the States and thus our Federal system.

As many would be aware, Dr. David Mitchell presented a paper to the Australian Monarchists League 2011 National Conference on constitutional recognition of Local Councils and this will be extremely useful in guiding our thoughts as will the excellent paper delivered by Matthew Sait on the proposal to constitutionally recognise the Aboriginal people.

*********************

THE THWARTING OF OUR CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTIONS.

It is not only with regard to matters of allegiance that we see a continuous effort by our politicians to 'dumb-down' our constitutional conventions. In order to gain temporary measure of popularity, we have seen the prime minister spending millions and committing far more than our budget can stand even though many proposals are not to eventuate until many years to come.

Not only are these schemes without any definite provision for funding, it also appears that the Federal government is making these announcements first and then telling the States that they have to participate in their funding even though they may have not been consulted prior to the announcement. This is not how a federation is supposed to function.

What we are seeing is a centralist government using its fiscal authority and political dominance to dictate to the States. Most people today forget that the Commonwealth originally had no taxing powers. That prerogative belonged to the States but was temporarily 'borrowed' by the Commonwealth in 1942 supposedly for the duration of the Second World War but was never handed back! Whilst these actions do not appear to contravene the Constitution, they are essentially against the tenet of our federal system.

We seem to be seeing the closing down of current funding commitments to be replaced by promises of greater things in years to come. The problem in this is that it is convention that no one government can bind another and therefore any unlegislated commitment to take place on a date following the expiry of the term of the current parliament has no validity. The States never lost their taxing powers, but the Commonwealth would never agree to hand them back, end its monopoly or share on an equitable basis.

The Uniform Tax cases of 1942 and 1957 confirmed the Commonwealth's right to tax. To relieve its own debt burden, the Fraser government rather forlornly proposed that the States collect their own income taxes in addition to the Commonwealth. However, the general public already resent existing taxes and would never countenance an additional impost.

GIRL GUIDES AUSTRALIA REMOVE GOD AND THE QUEEN FROM THEIR GUIDE'S PROMISE

Girl Guides Australia is wrong if it thinks it will attract more members by removing any reference to The Queen and to God.

Loyalty and obedience, has always been a fundamental part of Guiding but this is also to be replaced with something like 'choices for a better world'.

And all this to cater to those children - or more probably their parents - who have republican sympathies and/or who are irreligious.

However, it seems to be an oxymoron, that this misguided organisation removes mention of The Queen (at left the Queen then Princess Elizabeth in her Girl Guide uniform) at a time of her great popularity and when polls are showing an increasing majority of Australians wanting to remain a constitutional monarchy. Moreover,  they are retaining the name of the Guide's highest honour, 'The Queen's Guide' and also keeping as their Patron, the Governor-General, whom they seem to forget is the Queen's representative!

Pandering to small minorities, however influential, has cost our Federal government almost total popularity. If the Girl Guides think they will achieve greater numbers by removing the very essence of what they are then I feel they are sadly mistaken.

At one time parents would send their daughters to the Guides to encourage self discipline and leadership. Now it seems all they will get is a cringing towards political correctness.

Election Results

With the results of the recent South Australian by-election and the Queensland State Election no doubt you will be hearing what's wrong with the One Nation Party. I know and I do know what is right about One Nation - we must never be disillusioned just because we didn't succeed in winning seats.

We campaigned well and made an enormous impact in the electorates that we contested. The support and encouragement we received during the campaign was over whelming - however for many reasons this support did not transfer to enough votes for us on the day to enable us to win a seat in parliament.

Since Federation there have been many political parties that have come and gone - the Australian Labor Party is the country's oldest political party having been founded as a national party in 1901 - at the recent Queensland State election they (ALP) polled far worse than what One Nation did in the 1998 State election, gaining 22 per cent of the State wide vote translating to 11 of the 89 seats.

We have the policies and the right people to implement the change the Australian people are seeking - however with virtually a total black out by all of the main stream media it is near impossible to get our message out to the voting public.

Pauline Hanson was right when she launched the party at Ipswich on the 11th April 1997, these ideals are still right now and we will continue the fight to improve the well being of this Nation.

The core principals of One Nation therefore reflect this through its policy.  In which the party dedicates itself to the sovereignty of the Commonwealth of Australia.

Although by no means a new idea, they remain as relevant today as they have done throughout history, where time and time again, they have been tried, tested and proven principals that enable nation building.  They will forever remain contemporary to any future civilisation as the corner stone’s of freedom and democracy through security and prosperity.

This is why One Nation will always put the sovereignty of the Australian people before that of any other power.  It is also the primary reason for the scorn cast upon One Nation, for One Nation stands in the way of global governance and threatens to expose and end their deceit and treachery.

ONE NATION is a political party representing the people of Australia who are concerned that their will is being ignored by the two party system. One Nation is committed to Australian sovereignty, the Constitution and Government of the people by the people for the people.  Based on this view  we have developed policies reflecting the will of the people. Our role as a political party is to select and recommend to the people candidates that we feel reflect our objectives and policies and are worthy of representing them and their will as dedicated  parliamentary representatives.

One Nation has no friends in corporate Australia. Mainly because corporate Australia is 90% foreign owned, and they know we represent Australians only. We need your help, become a friend of One  Nation and donate to assist us with the injustice of every day occurrences in and around Australia. Australian companies are being annihilated daily with our federal government showing total indifference. That in itself is an outrage, our own Government has turned their back on Australians and Australia! Please help us with this fight, donate now.
